UEFA EUROS 2024 | GERMANY

So we’re a group of 4 lads travelling from London to the Euros in Germany to watch England vs Serbia. Belal and his team were amazing, tickets were sourced and accommodation too. After we realised public transport had been booked up Belal personally hired a car and drove us from Frankfurt to Gelsinkerchen and back. Really nice bloke and can’t recommend him enough. Looking forward to the World Cup in America. Cheers.

Just came back from a wonderful yoga retreat organised by Illuminate Retreats. This was held in Essaouira in Morocco, a beautiful quiet place where you can have a relaxing time. A big thank you to team Belal for looking after us so well and to Anandana for keeping us fit in the morning and meditating in the evening. The group of ladies came from different backgrounds, but we all had one thing in common: to enjoy and have an awesome me time. This trip by far was the best girlie trip ever, the company was awesome. Thank you Team Belal.

The lluminate Retreat in Sicily was incredible. The trip was well thought out, considered and perfectly organised. The team were easy to contact and helped with taxis and organising a spontaneous day trip. This meant we were all able to fully relax and enjoy the yoga and workshops without having to do anything. These activities were catered for all abilities so everyone felt stimulated.

A week since I have been back. Essaouira Sidi Kaouki was just the perfect location. Yoga, watching sunrise/sunset and the stars in the night sky was just magical. I just want to say a big thank you to Team Belal for putting this together.🙏

A group of us went to Lido de Maganuco, Modica in Southern Sicily. Our villa was a short walk to the beach where the sand was so soft underfoot, the beach was so clean and water playful and safe. Each morning we started the day with yoga on the beach with Giulia, who we will always remember inviting us to slowly, slowly transition from our poses. And for laying her magical hands on us to help us release what was possible, which our minds did not realise our bodies could do.
Circle time of human dynamics, family constellation, cards, healing, kirtan, aartis and prayer was so full of divine feminine energy, peace, calm and love. The sublime Alys cooked exquisitely, loved like a mum and was so warm and melodic and Mother Earth. Some of us did not know each other before the retreat and we left lifelong friends and for that, I am truly grateful. We took trips out to Modica and stunning Syracuse and experienced a wedding there in the cathedral at Ortigia Island. Vowing to return one day together.

Just got back from The Karma Khan CalmCamp Retreat and it was such a joyous experience. I fell in love with Essaouira the moment we landed. The lovely ladies I met on the retreat were dynamic, with easygoing personalities & compassion. We bonded in ways words cannot explain. I count myself lucky to have met each & every one of them.
Retreat Manager Meryem was Fantastic. She was patient (from Essaouira to Marrakech), kind & full of life & laughter & an amazing dancer too!
Yoga Instructor/Mentor Noreen Khan is awe-inspiring. I have no other way to describe someone who has so much passion and love for yoga. I have always been a lover of sunsets but will never look at another sunrise the same way again after this yoga retreat.

It’s been wholesome. My first retreat and it certainly won’t be my last. Thank you lluminate retreat (Belal. Noreen. Mervem & Apeksha).

I cannot even begin to express what a magical, beautiful and deeply soul-nourishing time that was spent in La Bastide en Val. Immediately upon arrival, the weekend unfolded so naturally and effortlessly that any tension, and anxiety of a busy mind and life, melted away with the serene surroundings, the friendly house, the wildly beautiful countryside and the fabulous folk with their warm welcome and sunny smiles. It is with eternal gratitude to Illuminate, Daisy, Dawn and my fellow travellers for being given such a precious jewel to add to my crown of life’s enchanted experiences.

I had the pleasure of visiting Germany for the Euro 2024 football tournament over the last few days. Everything from the pre-travel Comms to the hotel and match tickets was amazing. The whole team were a pleasure to deal with, and for someone as particular as me with regards to details, it was amazing to be able to leave it to someone else to manage. Thank you all.

So ILLUMINATE RETREATS was a great call to start my very first yoga session with YOGANIKA
And I think I won’t be able to rate Anika Apu for her strength in yoga teaching because she is just mind-blowing. She was so humble to uplift our minds towards dedication to yoga, fitness, and happiness of mind during the trip. The trip was organised, very relaxing, and well scheduled with a lot of activities and a good number of yoga sessions to work on stretching, strength, and relaxing your mind. Suktara Nature Retreat Resort was an added stimulus for ultimate tranquillity. A perfect space to start your yoga with its natural view with natural habitats and I should mention that the food was very tasty too.
I wish Illuminate Retreats would organise more trips like this and I am eagerly waiting to join again, The service was top-notch, and every person from the team illustrated their highest effort to feel special all over the trip.

It has been a great yoga retreat that we just had at Essaouira in Morocco. Belal, thank you for handling it so well and coordinating the whole trip. Travelling alone with strangers can be daunting but this was by far the most fun and memorable trip I have had with big thanks goes to team Belal and of course the lovely yoga teacher Anandana who not only kept us feeling fit for the day but also brought fun and banter to the table. I have truly made some wonderful friends on this trip. I can just sum up and say what a wonderful retreat we had and I would highly recommend it to anyone. You are definitely in safe hands. I am already looking forward to next one.
